Tao Master Hsu Wen Chin (then lecturer) and Lecturer Liu Yue'e immigrated to Canada with their children. The Hsu Family Temple was established.

Bodhisattva Neverest, Chen Hongzhen, our Qian-Ren, appointed the Dian Chuanshi (Tao Transmitting Master) and Sancai (Holy Mediums) to hold the first Tao Seminar at the Xu Family Temple.

Qian-Ren came to Vancouver for the first time, and established Hongde Public Temple (former Hsu Family Temple) and Zhide Public Temple.

Mr. Lu Dazhang (later lecturer) and his wife Mrs. Zhang Meixia (later Dian Chuanshi) established the third Public Temple, Huade Temple.

Qian-Ren directed the establishment of a provisional Vancouver Tao Affairs Center.
Promoted Lecturers of the Loyalty Character Class and six groups of operational talents.

Established the concept of Collective Leadership and overall driving of the concept and
operation.

Qian-Ren visited for the third time at nearly 77 years old. In addition to the formal establishment of the Vancouver Tao Affairs Center, many talents were promoted.

Qian-Ren visited for the fourth time. This trip included holding various advanced training
classes and promoting talents and Lecturers.

Tao propagation grew rapidly. Qian-Ren mercifully appointed Master Xie Kunde and Master Lu Longji to visit North American Tao centres on behalf of Qian-Ren.
On September 8, Mr. Cai Jingwen and Lecturer Liu Limei, along with several Temple Keepers established the fourth Public Temple, Chengde Temple.

In July, on behalf of Qian-Ren, Master Li Zhongcheng led all Tao members in carrying out the groundbreaking ceremony of the Fa-Yi Chong-De Vancouver Tao Centre.

Qian-Ren visited Vancouver for the fifth time in August. She set up family temples, brought Tao to the deceased, and inspected progress of the construction of the Tao Affairs Centre.

In May, the Fa-Yi Chong-De Association held Mother’s Day Appreciation Ceremony at the Michael J. Fox Theatre. Master Zheng Wujun visited to give a speech. All programs were well received.

The Seattle district was established in August. The Tao Affairs Center held four Tao Seminars at the Vancouver Chongde Tao Centre and the Seattle Chonghui Temple.

On June 19, 2005, construction of the Fa-Yi Chong-De Tao Affairs Centre in Vancouver was completed. Patriarch Jin Gong wrote the "Preface to the Hundred Filial Piety". This was an important milestone for the Vancouver Tao Affairs Center. With the concerted efforts of all Tao members, coupled with the compassionate manifestation of the Immortal Buddha, and the support of Qian-Ren and Masters in Taiwan, we have such a solemn Tao Centre.

Tao Affairs Centre in Vancouver and Seattle district were gradually on track. Tao Seminars, Tao classes, post-study classes, Lecturers' classes, New Year Celebration, Mid-Year Review, Year-End Appreciation, Mother's Day Celebrations, the Teacher's Enlightenment Memorial, Cantonese Tao classes, Youth class, etc. have successively become routine activities.

Public Temples Xingde and Wende were established.

Qian-Ren returned to heaven. The Tao Affairs Center set up a solemn hall and held a memorial in Taiwan time. On October 19, through sand writing by holy mediums, the Heavenly Mother beatified Qian-Ren as Bodhisattva Neverest, inspiring her Tao juniors to learn diligently and imitating the spirit of Bodhisattva Neverest.
A two-day Youth Growth Summer Camp was held every summer from 2008 to 2015, with a scale of 150 to 200 participants and 50 to 60 volunteer trainees.
Fa-Yi Chong-De Association started an English class and an English Tao Seminar.
Parent-Child Sutra Chanting Class Teacher's Training Conference was held and Parent-Child Sutra Chanting classes became widely established every year since then.

Fa-Yi Chong De Association and the various groups of Yiguan Tao in Greater Vancouver held the Sutra Recital Event with the rented venue at River Rock Theatre. The total number of participants in the activities exceeded 1,000 and there were more than 400 candidates. On the one hand, we were promoting the traditional culture and advocating an ambience of
reading scriptures. On the other hand, we were laying a good foundation for cross-organizational cooperation. After that, several Sutra Recital Events were held periodically.

On May 19, the Vancouver Fa-Yi Chong-De Association was structured into three operational regions: East (MetroVan), West (MetroVan), and Greater Seattle.

The Cide Public Temple was established on April 29.

Chong-De Temple in Vancouver and Chong-Hui Temple in Seattle District plans to expand and renovate.

Master Xie Li-Hua from Banqiao District, Taipei Tao Society established a family temple in Vancouver, Washington.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seminars, conferences, chanting, and speeches have been conducted via video conferencing.

Numerous Tao members made their vows after receiving The Holy Summons. It is confirmed that Chong-De Tao Centre will be expanded in-situ.

Master Huang Shi-Ming from Los Angeles Tao Society set up a public temple Zan-Hua in the West district.

Master Fang established a family temple in Chennai, India, and held a Tao Seminar.

Chong-Hui Temple in the Seattle district was re-established after the temple was rebuilt.

Zheng-De Public Temple from the East district was established.

Bao-De Public Temple temple altar was set up in the Seattle area.

I-Kuan Tao Association of Canada was established.

The Vancouver Fa-Yi Chong-De Association now covers all cities in Metro Vancouver and Seattle, Washington. Along the journey, we truly experienced the greatness of collaboration between Heaven and the humans as well as help from the Buddhas and celestial beings.
We are showered by the vastness of God's grace, the kindness of our ancestors, Patriarchs and Matriarchs, and the protection and wise leadership of our Lao Qian-Ren and Qian-Ren. We will carry on their legacies and aspirations to spread love of the Truth more widely and achieve the ideal of a world of great harmony.
